Congar International Legal Consulting supports businesses, insurers and industry professionals with the legal questions behind contracts, transactions and disputes. How We Work

Understand the Matter — We start by reviewing the relevant contracts, correspondence and supporting records. We discuss the transaction or dispute, the parties involved, the commercial objectives and any deadlines, then identify the facts and documents that need clarification.

Identify Priorities — We distinguish urgent decisions from longer-term questions, looking at contractual exposure, evidence, payment, operational continuity and dispute risk. This helps establish what needs attention first and which uncertainties should be resolved before commitments are made.

Develop a Practical Approach — We assess the available contractual and procedural options against the client’s objectives, resources and commercial relationships. Advice sets out the relevant trade-offs, proposed actions and information still needed, so decisions can be made on a clear basis.

Coordinate the Work — We agree the engagement scope, responsibilities and communication arrangements with the client. Where needed, we discuss the involvement of jurisdiction-specific advisers and other specialists, keeping the client informed of relevant developments and decisions as the work progresses.
